Tras varios años sin haberle visto, el pasado 9 de Agosto, Kaisaniemi Puisto presenció en el Weekend Festival a uno de los artistas más emblemáticos del pop internacional: Justin Bieber.
En primer lugar, me es inevitable que me entre una sonrisa de oreja a oreja al recordar uno de los momentos más especiales.
En cuanto salió su nombre en la pantalla, los pelos de punta y el nerviosismo iba creciendo. Al escuchar su voz con “Somebody” no pude evitar emocionarme y llorar de ilusión: Lo que estaba por venir era mucho y no estaba preparada.
“Off my face” sonó y no pude evitar llorar. Esta canción significa mucho para mi. De principio a fin recalca tal cual lo que siento por mi pareja. Siempre que he tenido la oportunidad se la he cantado y precisamente ese día, pude dedicársela. Como bien dice la canción – But I’m forever ruined by you.
“Love Yourself”, “Boyfriend” y “Baby” – ¿Os podéis creer que después de tantos años pudiese estar escuchándole cantar tres de las canciones más míticas de todo este tiempo? Una total fantasía que disfruté tanto hasta perder mi voz.
¿Qué me decís de “Peaches”? En versión a piano es otro rollo. Tiene y debe de sacarlo a las plataformas digitales. Es una necesidad.
El concierto acabó con “Anyone”. Su preciado sencillo dedicado a Hailey. Un momento precioso.
Cantó un total de 24 canciones intercalándolo así con diferentes temas de sus pasados discos haciendo más destacar el último “Justice”.
Cada canción ha sido un recuerdo de mi pequeño espacio en mi habitación escuchando todas sus canciones a todo volumen y con esperanzas de que, algún día le volvería a ver.
Concluyo reafirmando una vez más que su talento es indiscutible. Me ha sabido ganar desde el minuto cero y siempre será la persona que he admirado desde pequeña.
El año que viene estará de vuelta en Europa con su “Justice Tour”. ¿Sabéis quién va a ir a otro de sus conciertos, verdad?
Justin Bieber in Helsinki: A dream concert
After several years without seeing him, Kaisaniemi Puisto witnessed one of the most iconic international pop artists, Justin Bieber, at the Weekend Festival on the 9th of August.
First of all, I can’t help but smile from ear to ear when I remember one of the most special moments.
As soon as his name came up on the screen, my hair stood on end and my nerves were on edge. When I heard his voice with «Somebody» I couldn’t help but get excited and cry with anticipation: what was to come was a lot and I wasn’t prepared for it.
«Off my face» came on and I couldn’t help crying. This song means a lot to me. From beginning to end it underlines exactly how I feel about my partner. Whenever I have had the opportunity I have sung it to him and that day I was able to dedicate it to him. As the song says – But I’m forever ruined by you.
«Love Yourself», «Boyfriend» and «Baby» – Can you believe that after so many years I could listen to him singing three of the most mythical songs of all this time? A total fantasy that I enjoyed so much that I lost my voice.
What about «Peaches»? In piano version it’s another thing. Justin have to release it on digital platforms. It’s a must.
The concert ended with «Anyone». His precious single dedicated to Hailey. A beautiful moment.

Each song has been a memory of my small space in my room listening to all his songs at full volume and hoping that, one day, I would see him again.
I conclude by reaffirming once again that his talent is indisputable. He has won me over from minute zero and he will always be the person I have admired since I was a child.
Next year he will be back in Europe with his «Justice Tour». You already know who is going to another concert, don’t you?
